How it all started..

A long time ago, people started developing new things. From then on, it never stopped. Every year a new product is made. How did people create the industrial camera? The history of the camera in general begins even before the introduction of photography. This goes way back.

The forerunner to the photographic camera was the Camera obscura, this is latin for dark room. It is the natural optical phenomenon that occurs when an image of a scene at the other side of a screen or wall is protected, doing so through a hole that is really small in a screen and then it forms an inverted image to the surface, that is opposite to the opening. The use of a lens in the opening of a wall to project images used has been traced back to 1500/1550. (That is really long!). After this, these cameras were invented, so this is the whole overview:

The USB industrial camera

If we talk about the usb camera, we know that there are two types of usb cameras. The usb2 camera and the usb3 vision camera. Of course they differ from each other, but in what kind of ways? The first one, the usb2 camera interface is the cheapest of the two, also cheaper than other cameras. The bandwidth and the cable length are limited and these cameras are perfect for applications that require 1.3 MP at 30fps (which is a maximum). The cable length is not longer than 5 meters. Then the second one, the usb3 camera, the full name is the usb3 vision camera. This camera interface is the fastest interface and has a higher bandwidth. This usb3 camera is ideal for high resolution imaging, which is something that most people love to do. The cable length is shorter than the first one. It does not exceed 5 meters, it is 4.6 meters long.
